Sister Carol Makes the Ladies Cry

Today (May 1, 2011) sister Carol led the Ladies' Class for the first time. Her lesson on family was so heart-rending that practically all ladies shed tears together with her. She was able to touch the hearts of her audience with a very practical lesson from the Bible. Thanks be to God for such a gift in her! Today we have seen how we can touch human hearts if only we use the talents that God has given us. I hope we will not hide God's talents in us so that they can be put in better use for glory of God. Asked how she felt after giving such a touching lesson, she replied that she felt some kind of fulfillment in her life. I told her, "Now you understand why I told many Christians many times that despite getting tired from work, I always feel happy when I share God's message to some listening ears."

We also felt blessed this Sunday by the very nice and encouraging message that brother Owen delivered to us in his sermon. Let us thank brother Owen for that. Let us look forward to the sequel of that sermon this coming Sunday.

Let us also thank brother Jun for leading the men's class. He substituted brother Tope who went to Bohol for a tournament.

Praise God for all the blessings that He has bestowed in the Lord's church in Tisa!
