2010 Year-end Thanksgiving Day

On December 19, 2010, the church of Christ in Tisa had its Year-end Thanksgiving Day. There were 17 baptized members, 6 visitors, and 15 kids present, which gave us a total of 38 persons. We had our worship from 9-11 a.m., which extended to 11:45 a.m. Then we had our lunch together, and at the same time celebrated the birthday of Louise Esplanada. After lunch, there were activities designed to uplift the Biblical knowledge of the members as well as the kids, and in between the activities, there were some presentations from several groups usually by family. Some members were not able to join us because they were not able to arrive in Cebu on or before Dec. 19. While others were already in vacation mode, who were already in their respective provinces. But anyway, everyone present enjoyed the day. Praise the Lord for the success!

The church of Christ in Tisa has the reason to thank God for the year 2010. As of Dec. 19, 2010, thirteen (13) souls were added to the church for the year 2010. They are labeled "The Blessed 13." May the Lord bless the church with more souls in 2011!
